News and Media are interfering in people’s lives and gives a bad influence on them. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

The role played by journalism world in human lives is extremely crucial. It is opined by many that most of the times the unnecessary spying by media into personal lives creates chaos. The privacy of people is put at stake.  I agree that the intervention of news reporters in the life of human beings lay bad impact on them but the positive outcome of this interference is not ignored also.

To begin with, the fundamental right of every human being of leading his life in freedom is violated. The over indulgence of news reporters in to the personal affairs of politicians, celebrities and famous people causes disturbance to these public figures. This propensity, of bringing skeletons out of the closet, tarnishes the image of influential people. Furthermore, the wild chase by paparazzi influences adversely the performance of respective individuals. The unnecessary attention towards working system discourages many to do good deeds which eventually are against societal benefits.

On the flip side, it is the media who bring forth the deep hidden scandals through sting operations. Such investigations may help the nation by deterring some corrupt leaders or bureaucrats to indulge in malpractices. They always remain under scan of the reporters. Besides this, TV and newspaper reporters highlight criminal activities and aware people about anti social elements. This alertness allows people to take precautionary measures to remain safe.

To recapitulate, it is drawn that to broadcast the events and happenings of the world, the intervention by reporters into personal lives is not commendable at all, if is done to sensationalise only. On the contrary, their services are of great value to society and people.
